Ingredients
  

Noodles and Beef
  • 12 oz egg noodles
  • 1 lb beef steak thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Sticky Sauce
  • 0.5 cup soy sauce low sodium
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 0.5 cup beef broth

Equipment

  • Large skillet or wok
  • Mixing bowl
  • Pot for noodles

Method
 

  1. Cook noodles according to package directions and set aside.
  2. Toss beef with cornstarch until coated.
  3. Sear beef in hot oil until browned, then remove.
  4. Sauté garlic and ginger briefly.
  5. Add sauce ingredients and simmer until thickened.
  6. Return beef and add noodles, tossing to coat evenly.

Notes

Adjust sweetness or spice to taste. Best served immediately while glossy.
