Ingredients
  

Cookie Dough
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 tsp baking powder
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.75 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg large
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Flavor Swirls
  • 2 tsp matcha powder
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 0.5 cup freeze-dried strawberries crushed

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven and line baking sheets.
  2. Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
  4. Add egg and vanilla, mixing well.
  5. Mix in dry ingredients to form dough.
  6. Divide dough into two bowls.
  7. Mix matcha with milk and fold into one dough.
  8. Fold crushed strawberries into second dough.
  9. Marble doughs together and scoop onto sheets.
  10. Bake until edges are set and centers soft.

Avoid over-mixing when marbling to preserve color contrast.
