  • 1.5 cups milk

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Vanilla Cream Filling
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup cream cheese optional
Fruit Layer
  • 1.5 cups fresh strawberries sliced

Method
 

  1. Mix dry waffle ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Add wet ingredients and whisk until smooth batter forms.
  3. Cook waffles in waffle maker until golden.
  4. Whip cream, sugar, and vanilla until fluffy.
  5. Slice strawberries thinly.
  6. Cut waffles and fill with cream and strawberries.
  7. Assemble into sandwich and dust with powdered sugar.
