Ingredients
  

Peppermint Syrup
  • 1 cup water
  • 0.75 cup granulated erythritol or monk fruit sweetener
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 drops green food coloring optional

Method
 

  1. Combine water and sweetener in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Stir continuously until the sweetener dissolves completely.
  3. Bring mixture to a gentle simmer and cook for 3–5 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
  5. Stir in peppermint extract and vanilla extract.
  6. Optional: add green food coloring for a festive appearance.
  7. Allow syrup to cool completely.
  8. Transfer to a bottle or jar and store in the refrigerator.

Notes

Adjust peppermint extract to taste depending on desired mint intensity. Perfect for peppermint mocha, iced coffee, or holiday drinks.
