Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 500 g boneless chicken breast or thighs cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • to taste salt
Creamy Mac and Cheese
  • 2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups milk warm
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp mustard powder
  • to taste salt and pepper

Method
 

  1. Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add milk, mustard powder, and shredded cheddar. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  3. Season cheese sauce with salt and pepper, then mix with cooked macaroni. Keep warm.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through.
  5. Add honey, black pepper, red chili flakes, soy sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder to the chicken. Stir to coat evenly and cook for 2–3 minutes.
  6. Serve honey pepper chicken on a plate with a side of creamy mac and cheese.

Notes

Adjust the spice level by reducing or increasing the red chili flakes. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
