Ingredients
  

Slaw Base
  • 4 cups green cabbage finely shredded
  • 1 cup red cabbage finely shredded
  • 1 cup carrots shredded
  • 1 cup dill pickles finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill chopped
Dressing
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp pickle juice
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey or sugar
  • 0.5 tsp chili flakes adjust to taste
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 0.25 tsp salt to taste
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl combine shredded green cabbage, red cabbage, and carrots.
  2. Add chopped pickles and fresh dill to the vegetable mixture.
  3. In a separate bowl whisk together mayonnaise, pickle juice, apple cider vinegar, honey or sugar, chili flakes, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Whisk dressing until smooth and creamy.
  5. Pour dressing over cabbage mixture.
  6. Toss everything together until evenly coated.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  8. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra spice add diced jalapeƱos or hot sauce. Best served chilled and enjoyed within 3 days.
