Ingredients
  

Beef
  • 1.5 lb beef steak ribeye or flank
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 0.5 tsp salt
Nam Jim Jaew
  • 3 tbsp fish sauce
  • 2 tbsp lime juice fresh
  • 1 tbsp toasted rice powder
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 1 tsp palm sugar
  • 2 tbsp shallots sliced
  • 2 tbsp cilantro chopped
  • 1 tbsp mint chopped

Equipment

  • Grill pan or grill
  • Mixing bowl
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Method
 

  1. Season steak lightly with oil and salt.
  2. Grill over high heat until charred and medium-rare.
  3. Rest beef before slicing thin against the grain.
  4. Mix all dipping sauce ingredients in a bowl.
  5. Serve sliced beef with sauce on the side.

Adjust chili to taste.
