Ingredients
  

Taco Filling
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 0.33 cup water
  • 0.5 tsp smoked paprika
Garlic Butter
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped
Sandwich Assembly
  • 8 slices pretzel bread
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese shredded

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls

Method
 

  1. Cook ground beef in olive oil until browned.
  2. Add taco seasoning, smoked paprika, and water then simmer until thickened.
  3. Melt butter and mix with garlic and parsley.
  4. Brush pretzel bread slices with garlic butter.
  5. Layer cheeses and taco meat between bread slices.
  6. Cook sandwiches in skillet over medium-low heat until golden and crispy.
  7. Flip carefully and continue cooking until cheese melts completely.
  8. Slice and serve immediately.

Notes

Add jalapeƱos or hot sauce for extra spice. Freshly shredded cheese melts best.
